The creightons were very proud of their son, Frank. When he went to college, naturally they missed him; but he wrote and they looked forward to his letters and saw him on weekends. Then Frank drafted into the army.
After he had been in the army about five months, he received his call to Vietnam. Of course the parents' anxiety for his first letter was greater than ever before. And every week they heard from him and were thankful for his well-being. Then one week went by without a letter, two weeks and finally three. At the end of the third week a telegram came, saying, "We regret to inform you that your son has been missing for three weeks and is presumed to have been killed in action while fighting for his country.
The parents were shocked and grieved. They tried to accept the situation and go on living, but it was tragically lonesome without Frank.
About four weeks later, however, the phone rang. When Mrs. Creighton answered it, a voice on the other end said, "Mother, it's Frank. They found me, and im going to be all right. I'm in the United States and I'm coming home soon." Mrs.Creighton was elated, with tears running down her cheeks she sobbed, "Oh, that's wonderful! That's just wonderful, Frank."
There was silence for a moment, and then Frank said, " Mother I want to ask you something that is imperative to me. While I've been here, I've met a lot of wonderful people and I've become close friends with some. There is one fellow I would like to bring home with me to meet you and Dad. And I would like to know if it would be alright if he could stay and live with us, because he has no place to go.
His mother assured him it would be all right.
Then Frank said, " You see, he wasn't as fortunate as some, he was injured in battle. He was hit by a blast and his face is disfigured. He lost his leg, and his right hand is missing. So you see, he feels apprehensive about how others will accept him."
Frank's mother stopped to think a minute. She began to wonder how things would work out with a cripple in their home, and she worried about how the people in town would react to someone like that. She said, " Sure Frank, you bring him home, for a visit, that is. We would love to meet him and have him stay for a while; but about him staying with us permanently, well we'll have to think about that." There was a silence for a minute, and then Frank said, " Okay, Mother," and hung up.
A week went by without any word from Frank, and then a telegram arrived, "We regret to inform you that your son has taken his own life. We would like you to come and identify the body." Their wonderful son was gone. The devastated parents could only ask themselves, " Why had he done this?"
When they walked into the room to identify the body of their son, they found a young man with a disfigured face, one leg missing, and his right hand is gone.

omg. IT IS REALLY TOUCHING!

r.e.d is hot to go, hottogo~

our pinocchio... actually it was placed in the middle of the tent. but we have took it out.

our tent......... our deco.......

valerie!^^

` me~^^

today was our school's sport day.we had practiced 2 weeks for the marching.our Text Colorcommander always complained tht we have no spirit. macam tahi^^. for further information, we got the 1st for three years!!!! continuesly!!!from 2006 to 2008. our deco, we got 1st for the 1st two years! but last year rumah merah failed to get it.....

i still remember the process, we practiced marching in padang, dewan, tapak and every where......putting the books on our head so tht we could march really straight......tepuk tepuk tandas... tepuk tepuk zha dou...... tepuk tepuk pinocchio....tepuk tepuk so what.... and one more... forgot the name le^^

for 2009, we used pinocchio to represent rumah merah.....honesty!! nevertheless, pinocchio is the right one for honesty ,is'nt it?we practiced every afternoon after school, i even skipped my tuition classes just to attend the practice.my skin became darker day by day because we were exposed under the sun for the whole day.we even stayed up to 9.10pm yesterday night just for the practice. and our seniors, stayed over night in school just to built up our tent.

finally, we're going to show what we had praticed for two week today. we headed to school by 5.30am and wore our custom. we marchers will perform all the things we had learned in the past today. marching, formation and so on. and our tent, it was really successful!

we started to march, and performed infront of the VIP. our commander even said tht we have done really well. i was so happy to hear tht and the ambience was so touching. our hard work have paid off

we got the 1st again!!!!! this is the forth year we get the 1st for marching!but ... we are not happy at all........... we even cried... just because of our tent..our deco.. we get nothing... we were disqualified ...we marchers and deco, just like brothers and sisters tht work together, support each other..eventhough we got 1st for marching, we were not tht happy... our deco, our tent , we got high marks for tht... 89!!!!!!!!! but.... mr.william, which is from rumah ungu, complained tht our pinocchio was too tall and we cannot have performance in our tent...our pinocchio does move... but tht is not a performance! right??

we were supposed to got the 1st for deco (tent),they gave us really high marks, 89%, then they decided to deduct 10 marks just because of the mistakes. but! mr.william was not happy with it and said tht we have to be disqualified!!!!

we put a lot of effort and we got 89%, but in a sudden we lost everything. we marchers did not involved in deco but we cried... our commander, captain... cried bitterly, poignantly.....when we went up to the stage to received the price for berbarisan(marching), we cried.. our commander cried.... we did not received the price for deco... we were disqualified..... can u imagine? from 89% we drop to 0%. NOTHING!!! we got nothing!

even maggie ng from rumah kuning cried! cried because wt the person said was so touching..talk about we dint lose it, we were just disqualified and the 1st place were actually belongs to us..... i have cried for many time... marchers and senior around me did tht too..... we were very sad... we do not deserve this.... wat we can do now is, remember tht we are the only one who won for deco
congrate to the marchers^^
